Tooth donation and collection campaign

Donate your tooth!

Bring us the teeth you have lost and we will swap them for a gift and a certificate.

The campaign

Baby teeth for science.

Every year the Ratón Pérez House-Museum takes part in the Baby Tooth Donation and Collection Campaign, together with the National Research Centre on Human Evolution (CENIEH).

Thanks to your help and the unconditional support of Ratón Pérez, over these ten years of campaigns more than 2,000 donors have taken part and more than 4,500 teeth have been collected, encouraging scientific vocations among schoolchildren along the way.

The Ratón Pérez Collection

A world reference collection.

The Ratón Pérez Collection, a world reference for baby teeth, is used by researchers from many scientific fields. The project is also a meeting point for partner institutions and donors from all over the world.

Ratón Pérez encourages and applauds children keeping their lost tooth, as long as the aim is to donate it to CENIEH for science: it helps solve how hard it is to get baby teeth for research and gets everyone involved. And of course, he promises that on the night the tooth falls out he will still visit its owner and leave a little gift, even without taking the tooth that is going to be donated.

We look forward to seeing you!
